The girl who fell from the sky post 2

So far it seems that Rachel is trying to figure out who she is and how others view her after her family tragedy. At first this this story wasn't interesting to me but then when I continued reading I came to realize how the world views biracial people. But at points I am a bit confused with all of the character s that have like their own chapter thing.  So far it seems like Brick has a secret that he had not yet told.
