This is a major turning point in the story for Christopher. I agree. His whole world as he knows it has changed. His father is the one person that he trusted and now he has his doubts. Do you think it was right to lie to Christopher in this case?
ReplyDeleteYes, I think Christopher's father did the right thing because if Christopher's mother had left once, there was no way of knowing she wouldn't do it again. Even after Christopher reunited with his mother, she started to feel depressed and annoyed by her son again. If Christopher's father hadn't started to help, she probably would have abandoned Christopher again.
