The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time -Post 1

Although the narrator, Christopher, is a very interesting character, the first quarter of this book went by very slowly. Part of this may have to do with the fact that because the writer of the book is supposed to come across as mentally disabled, the writing is very choppy. However, I do find it very interesting that even though Christopher is not able to see or understand things in the way that most people would, he is an extremely smart person. He is able to comprehend very difficult math equations and logistical problems that most could not begin to solve. Christopher is extremely observant, making him study situations, places, and people in a much more detailed way. These talents will make solving the mystery of who killed wellington much easier for him.
