Paper Towns 3

Imagine if everyone thought like Margo Roth Spiegelman. On page 302, she is talking to Quentin about different metaphors for life, such as cracks in a ship. She says, "There is all this time between when the cracks start to open up and when we finally fall apart. And its only in that time that we can see one another, because we see out of ourselves through our cracks and into others through theirs." This passage explains how people don't realize what others are really like until they break down.
