Although depressing, A Long Way Down is a very well written story. The four different prospectives switching all the time was a little confusing, but after you got to know the characters it became easier to read in their mind-set. I thought this story was pretty unpredictable, and you usually did not see what was coming. We've all thought life was hard at points and not fair. Or felt you didn't belong. You have to keep looking, keep trying, and don't give up because things may get better. Everybody has a purpose in life.
I would recommend this interesting and compelling novel to anybody who is going through a hard time and asking, "Why me?". You can overcome the despair, and you can see brighter days.
