Defending Jacob 1

I am reading the book "Defending Jacob" and am currently on page 71. What I like most about the book is that it is told from an adult's point of view, unlike most of the other books that we are assigned to read. It still focuses on troubles that kids are faced with, like bullying and knowing what is right and wrong. The example that was used so far in the book is when Sarah decided to let the main character (Andy Barber) know about the Facebook page. At the same time it also focuses on troubles parents deal will their teenage kids, as Andy does with his son. But the main reason I enjoy reading this book is that it is a mystery book about having to find the murderer in a crime. The story starts to get really interesting during the last two chapters I read. In the first, the main suspect is found. In the second, it talks about Andy and his ancestors' past which might be the reason the murder accrued! I think that Andy has tried so hard to forget about his father, that he forgets to be a father to his own son.
